I can't thank you enough for spending your afternoon taking pictures of Ashley and I basically naked!! Katy did a wonderful job with our engagement photos! We had a very limited amount of time and she was so great about getting all the shots we wanted in a really short session. She does a great job of getting natural looking photos by easily weaving in and out of conversation and keeping the mood light. She seems to snap a shot at the perfect moment every time. She’s easy to be around and doesn’t make you feel like you have a camera in your face the whole time. I would hire Katy time and time again for any photography shoot!
“I decided to do a pretty impromptu photo session with Katy Moran one Saturday in February. It was something I am never extremely comfortable doing, and you can double that for my husband and dogs. We decided to do a photo shoot to say goodbye to Portland, and our favorite bridge the St. John’s Bridge. My overall conclusion was that the shoot was more than I had hoped for, especially considering what was spent. Katy already had a plan in mind, and we wanted to be told where to stand etc. She was open to any ideas that we had, but we had none! The spots she chose were well thought out (or at least they seemed to be). My husband was very out of his element, but he actually enjoyed the shoot, and commented afterwards that he felt it was money well spent, which almost never comes out of his mouth. We got flattering photos in our favorite place, and we loved every second of it. Highly recommended by the Petray’s!”

"We could not imagine having had any other photographer than Katy Moran shoot our wedding! She is highly professional, creative and delightful - not to mention lightning fast at editing! When doing group shots, she watches and takes notes. She never forced us to pose in weird ways like some photographers do. She somehow captured all of these moments as they naturally occurred. Seriously, I do not know how she does it! During the reception, she seamlessly floated around, capturing all those important moments without any of us even noticing!
