Sometimes the star of the show takes a little while to warm up to the camera, but once he does- those smiles will steal your heart! This sweet family met me at the beautiful Washington Park in Anacortes, WA. It was a lovely Pacific Northwest afternoon and we played on the beach, hiked the little trail to the overlook and spent lots of time making this little guy giggle!
It’s always such a complete honor when couples I have worked with in the past invite me back to photograph their first little one together! Baby Bree was SO good for our session and gave me so many little sneak smiles. This session was done in the client’s home where we can take our time and keep everyone comfortable. I like to bring along all sorts of soft blankets and props to help make the session colorful and fun!
Jardin Del Sol is a beautiful little garden venue tucked away in the lovely Snohomish, Washington area and offers SO many fantastic backdrops all within steps of the main venue area. Each time I’ve had the opportunity to shoot here the space has been immaculately kept and full of color.
As often happens on wedding days in all the hustle and bustle, the bride and groom were running behind schedule- so what to do, you ask? Well, you don’t panic and you step up your detail game! The combination of the lush greenery of Jardin Del Sol and the many details Angela and Luis had worked hard to put together for their special day, there was plenty to photograph. As the couple arrived we were all geared up and ready to focus right on them as the day began to unfold.
Angela’s daughter was the flower girl for their big day and it was so sweet to watch the two girls get ready together and share some really special moments before walking down the aisle. It was a very emotional ceremony for this couple who had been together for several years and begun building a life together long before their official wedding ceremony, but they certainly know how to party after all the tears had been dried! The dance floor was full of fun on this beautiful summer evening in the Pacific Northwest. <3
Every year I try to host holiday mini sessions and it seems like every year it absolutely pours down buckets of rain. I am so thankful to have such understanding and fun-loving clients that don’t mind the PNW weather and come out to see me in the trees out at the lovely Fullner Christmas Tree Farm anyway. I am working on getting my 2018 sessions together so stay tuned! Below is a fun little collection from last year <3
