I am so absolutely honored and humbled to have been voted Bellingham Alive’s Best of the Northwest Best Photographer for 2019 taking gold for a second year! It’s hard to put into words the amount of appreciation and love I have for all of my clients, supporters and friends that continually trust me to photograph their families, weddings, birthdays, family reunions, businesses, food, restaurants, kids, homes.. and so much more. I am equally as thankful to my sweet husband who is (whether he likes it or not :-P) along for the ride and constantly there to support me in this wild journey. I could not be as successful or grounded without his help. This job allows me to get a special little glimpse into the lives of so many different kinds of people. It gets me out of bed in the morning, fills me with joy and excitement and fulfills me. I am forever thankful for all of you that make this dream reality and supporting me down this path of entrepreneurship. It’s not always easy, but it is always worth it! THANK YOU! Cheers to another year of growth, challenges and a whole lot of fun <3 This gold cocktail is for all of you!
Brittany and Eli’s big day at the Bellwether Hotel happened to take place during one of the smoggiest summer days due to the wildfires that were burning in Canada at the time. Many people get concerned about what these kinds of weather conditions will do to photos, but in all honesty- it’s kind of wonderful. Not that I am happy about our beautiful forests being destroyed AT ALL, but the smoke actually filters the sunshine on a hot summer day to create a really even and lovely situation for photography.
This colorful group was a lot of fun and despite the weather it was an absolutely beautiful afternoon on Bellingham Bay!
Helen and Michael's wedding day was so DREAMY! The Lairmont has such charm and the garden and patio space was the perfect fit for these two and the casual and relaxed evening with their people. The guests even got to enjoy an amazing meal by Ciao Thyme and music by Hot Damn Scandal! A true PNW wedding full of so much local talent!
This beautiful and intimate ceremony last August for Michelle and Mirek was really heartwarming. There's just something special about your closest friends and family and the sun shining on the water. Just about 30 people gathered at a private home for the ceremony overlooking the water before traveling out to Semiahmoo for a gorgeous dinner in the garden beside the beach. Sweet vows, beautiful weather and lots of playful laughter. I am so happy I could be there, too.
