Mitch and Bre’s wedding day was perfectly Pacific Northwest- full of rain, umbrellas, pizza from Pizza’zza, personalized beer made by Atwood Ales AND cake topped in hops by Gathered Confections. The bride’s bouquet was assembled by the groom’s sister, Julia Moquin, and this afternoon was perfectly low-key and beautiful surrounded by close family and friends out at Hovander Park in Ferndale, WA! Check it out <3
It was a perfect, sunny PNW afternoon for these two! We made our way down Chuckanut Drive and parked int he lot above Clayton Beach to explore the woods a bit before making our way down to the long stretch of sand. This is one of my favorite beaches in the area, mostly because of the amount of soft sand! I always love when couples bring along a change of outfits, too. So we were able to get a more casual and more dressy vibe!
Another beautiful evening at the one and only Larrabee State Park on Chuckanut Drive. This sweet couple warned me they were a little nervous about having their photos taken (as so many couples do!), but the evening ended up being so relaxing and fun. Exactly how I want all my engagement sessions to be! These sessions are the perfect opportunity to get to know each other in a non-stressful atmosphere before the big day, crack jokes and have a good time together. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the rhododendrons were for this session, too! Check it out!
The 2018 issue of Bellingham Alive’s Winter Fashion magazine was SO much fun to be a part of! I loved the neutral color scheme with pops of colors and FEATHERS! Lisa Karlberg hand crafted all of the feather wardrobe pieces herself and handpicked the outfits and accessories from local businesses. Find the entire list of participating shops below! You can find this issue on store shelves near you until the end of December!
