The 2018 issue of Bellingham Alive’s Winter Fashion magazine was SO much fun to be a part of! I loved the neutral color scheme with pops of colors and FEATHERS! Lisa Karlberg hand crafted all of the feather wardrobe pieces herself and handpicked the outfits and accessories from local businesses. Find the entire list of participating shops below! You can find this issue on store shelves near you until the end of December!
Oh my goodness.. This post has been a long time coming. Last May I had the opportunity to work with the most talented group of women in the Bellingham area who all shared an inspiration around the idea of feathers. Kat of Elm and Olive photography and myself thought long and hard about what a good theme would be for our styled shoot and when we came across this idea, it just stuck. We started seeing feathers everywhere and began to be more and more inspired.
There are so many amazing vendors to thank from this fabulous shoot. We couldn't have done it without all of you! Thank you to Anna at Salon Bellissima . a Salon and Spa for the gorgeous bridal hair she crafted, Ashley of Love Beauty for makeup and touchups throughout the day, Colleen at Botanikal for the STUNNING bouquets, Aly at For Such A Time Designs for her one-of-a-kind hand stamped spoons, Heather at Cupcakes Like It Sweet for the feather themed cupcakes, Stephanie at Gown & Glove Bridal Consignment for the wedding gowns, Sarah Rydman at Something Different Salon for awesome feather nails, Kat at Elm & Olive for a photographer with another perspective and a HUGE thank you to our model Tuesday of Tuesday LeeAnn Hanson for your willingess to spend the day with us!
Each of these vendors brought something unique and amazing to this shoot. We are forever grateful. Thank you for making our dream shoot become reality!
