Laundromat Lifestyle Session
Because not all styled shoots have to be some big to-do. Sometimes it's the little things in life that are just as fun and even more important! This shoot took place at BrioLaundry in Bellingham. It was a perfect fit for this couple that currently lives on their sailboat near Seattle. The just so happen to frequent laundromats right now! I wanted to capture what a lifestyle session might look like. We played, laundered and had a little water fight. Anything you do with the people you care about is something that deserves to be captured.

Baking Cupcakes with Mom
These three ladies love spending time baking together and I wanted to capture them in their most authentic way. We started with some hellos and moved right into baking- splitting up tasks like breaking eggs and stirring in the flour. As the morning progressed the littlest lady ended up on the counter and the family cat joined in on the fun. I love being around to watch families do the things they love to do together!

Who doesn't love a good old fashioned pizza date night!? Homemade pizza really is the best kind and I love tossing dough with these two!
It was such an honor to spend the morning hanging out with sweet Ellie and her Dad. It started off with the essential hair braid session before we really got down to business. From there we ended up busting out every type of Lego piece you could imagine- From people and car parts to foods and animals. Ellie and her Dad ended up building some sort of spacecraft as I chatted with the two of them throughout our time together. They gleefully told me about all the time they've spent building Legos together and that many of these belonged to Phil when he was a kid! Isn't that just the coolest thing?
To all you families out there that love to bake together- My heart holds a special place for you. I've loved to bake ever since I was little and I love to watch the bonding that happens when you spend time together in the kitchen. Plus, who can go wrong with a good old chocolate chip cookie!?
The daffodils in the PNW come spring are absolutely gorgeous and kind of a big deal up in here in Skagit County. I've know this sweet Momma since college and it's always so special to spend time with these ADORABLE little ones. Plus, who can resist those colors, amiright!?
Every family has their go to activities when they are home together and need to play! I got to spend the morning playing with this sweet family doing all sorts of favorite activities including fort building- one of my personal favs ;)
An absolutely unforgettable evening with this family in their little neighborhood outside Phoenix, AZ. We walked on a beautifully warm night down to their favorite ice cream shop and stopped at a few colorful and fun spots along the way to play. Find more on the blog here!

Samantha is a fantastic chef and food blogger that I have had the privilege of getting to know recently. She moved to town and had no idea what she was getting herself into when she invited me over for a morning at her house to play FOOD! Check out her fantastic blog here!
The holidays are my FAV. I'm obsessed with decorating, Christmas cookies, getting our tree, trying out weird new appetizer recipes and drinking way too much wine with my friends. I love that it's cold and that it gets dark early and you can just stay in, be with people you care about and not feel like you have to rush off into the next big thing. It was so special to be able to hang out while Henry and his Dad shared their special holiday traditions with me <3 This lifestyle session is all about the little details and what makes the holidays special. Cheers!
